The Home Performance Stakeholder Council (HPSC) is a not-for-profit society that supports the growth of the home performance industry in British Columbia (BC), Canada. Our mission is to increase the supply and demand of qualified home performance service providers by supporting market growth, capacity building, and quality workmanship. Home performance is determined by the energy efficiency, comfort, health, safety, and durability of a home. Retrofitting with a whole-home, or house-as-a-system approach, is key to improving home performance. This includes addressing the building envelope, mechanical systems, occupant behaviour, and environmental conditions to make the home as safe, comfortable, efficient, and durable as possible.
