Project Coordinator – Energy
The Energy Projects Coordinator will support Green Venture’s home energy social enterprise services and energy efficiency engagement and education programs. On a day-to-day basis you will be delivering client services, and coordinating program operations, auditor training, community engagement and partner development, including developing program funding proposals, reports, presentations and other energy efficiency outreach and communication materials, and supervising customer service assistants, interns, and volunteers.
Requirements and Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and creative self-starter, an effective communicator to promote energy efficiency and develop relationships with a diverse set of community partners, including residential homeowners, retrofit contractors, utilities, and governments, an adaptable team player to work collaboratively with team members, community partners, and volunteers, and a detail-oriented customer relations administrator to deliver excellent customer service, solve client issues, and provide continuous improvement in customer relationship management. You will have completed post-secondary education in a related field, such as environmental studies, business administration, communications, or social science and will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in project coordination. You will have demonstrated strong skills in project tracking, client services, community engagement, database and spreadsheet management, problem-solving, taking initiative, and communications and will be able to work independently, and available for occasional weekend and evening work.
This position may be funded through a youth employment program with the following requirements for applicants: 1) between 15 and 30 years of age; 2) Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or have official refugee protection status under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act; 3) legally entitled to work in Canada, according to relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations; 4) graduated from a post-secondary program and not in school full time.
