Sustainability Applications Team Lead
As part of the IT group, this role will provide support, analysis, and configuration assistance for technologies that support the environmental, health, & safety (EHS) areas of the business. This person will work closely with operations staff, corporate leadership, and other IT departments to define and implement effective business process enhancements and technology solutions.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Providing technical support to users across an enterprise interface with configuration, reporting, system performance, and integration.
- Defining technical solutions to business challenges through stakeholder engagement and a customer service mindset.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement with our platforms.
- Being a lead resource in projects implementing new technologies and integrations to support strategic initiatives.
- Cooperating with a team to keep systems operating and further our organization’s competitive advantage.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or MIS from a recognized public or private program and/or 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter keen on adapting existing systems and their own skillset.
- Reasonable working knowledge of relational databases and corresponding tools (Toad for Oracle, SQL Navigator, MSSQL).
- Experience with systems integration and data conversion.
- Desire to gain exposure to Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability areas of our business and systems such as Intelex, Enableon, Cority, etc.
- Past exposure to the following is an asset: PowerBI, Azure DevOps Server, Azure Active Directory, Visual Studio, mobile device enterprise technology.
Travel Required
Must be able to travel via car and air when required - 10% expected.
