Position Description

We are looking for a smart, creative, and resourceful person to help fulfill our Application Management Engineer position. This position will provide quality, professional product administration and support to the energyOrbit customers that results in a high degree of Customer Satisfaction. This position includes ongoing management of the energyOrbit solution in certain customers’ production environments, as well as assessing, documenting and resolving basic customer issues. This person will respond to routine inquiries of a technical nature and handle problem resolutions that may require follow-up and/or escalation to resources with a higher level of expertise.


  • Perform ongoing routine and ad hoc energyOrbit management tasks on behalf of customers
  • Provide ongoing support to customers
  • Act as an internal advocate, triaging and resolving customer issues on the energyOrbit Platform
  • Identify, assess criticality, and prioritize issues as they come in
  • Monitor, document, and manage the resolution process in a timely manner, while effectively communicating status to the customer to maintain a high rate of satisfaction
  • Actively strive to support SLAs
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Do all of the above while meeting or exceeding current high rates of customer satisfaction

Qualifications Desired

  • 2-3 years of Helpdesk/Call Center or system administration experience preferred
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • 2-3 years of hands-on Salesforce administration and configuration experience
  • Strong problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
  • Maniacal attention to detail and process
  • Professional and effective communications skills – both verbal and written
  • Effective multitasking/organizational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, as well as with a team
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts and derive solutions
  • Positive, customer-obsessed attitude and solution-oriented outlook
