WHAT YOU WILL DO

At the Canadian Institute for Energy Training (CIET), the mission of the Client Experience Specialist is to assist our participants in all the steps of their training experience with CIET by providing excellent service. The Client Experience Specialist reports to the Executive Director and is in charge of ensuring complete client satisfaction and that each participant enjoys an incomparable training experience to maintain and solidify CIET’s excellent reputation.


You will have the opportunity to:

  • By email and telephone, respond to questions and requests from participants, for example about registrations, payments, eligibility criteria, etc.;
  • Collaborate with the business development team to identify private training opportunities;
  • Collaborate with the operations coordination team to deliver courses in accordance with our standards;
  • Manage participant files in the database system (course history, future interest, registrations, etc.);
  • Manage course waiting lists and initiate contact when new courses are announced;
  • Welcome and inform participants during online training;
  • Coordinate with the entire team to continuously identify improvement opportunities in the experience offered to participants in relation to:
  • The online experience;
  • The virtual or in-person training experience;
  • Customer service.
  • Maintain, improve, and optimize internal processes to offer the best customer service possible, reduce the number of requests, and optimize how to treat them.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Profile

  • Two to five (2-5) years of experience in customer service
  • An interest in the environment, sustainable development, efficiency and/or training

Required skills

  • Interest and ease in connecting with people
  • Professionalism
  • Ease using technology (mainly the Office 365 environment)
  • Mastery of French and English, orally and in writing
  • Versatility, problem solving, creativity, and proactivity
  • Ability to work autonomously while appreciating collaboration
  • Care for detail and respect of procedures
  • Priorities management and multitasking
  • Excellent organizational and work planning skills
  • Capacity to resolve issues adequately and autonomously
