The Building Analyst will support all data analysis and project management deliverables for the AASG group. Their primary role will be to perform facility condition assessment (FCAs) services for our nationwide client base. This involves desktop analysis work including building interviews, data entry, audit preparation, coordination with stakeholders, quality assurance, and report writing, and on-site audit work assessing the overall health of buildings and their associated systems. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills, be an adept user of IT and software systems, and be willing to travel nationwide on a regular basis. The project coordinator will cultivate and foster positive business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all times.


Responsibilities:


Perform data work including lifecycle template development, software configuration, asset reviews, and quality assurance;


Visit project sites to conduct building condition assessments and audits;


Liaise with client stakeholders and cultivate and maintain effective business relationships at all project levels.


Prepare technical reports detailing buildings and building systems;


Provide consulting services in capital planning, maintenance management, and energy management; and


Perform Other Duties As Required.


Minimum Qualifications:


Engineering degree, or equivalent, with experience in building systems/construction; and/or engineering


Three years of experience working with building systems or construction with an emphasis on aging infrastructure, facility management, operations and maintenance, or building condition assessments and audits.


Two years practical project management experience


Additional Qualifications:


Progress towards a professional certification related to buildings and building systems


Understanding of health, safety, and security standards in building environments


Excellent computer skills, is a competent user of MS Office Suite and familiar with navigating software systems


Exceptional communication skills and is comfortable managing customer expectations


Willingness to travel nationally up to 50% of their time


Highly organized and experienced at coordinating stakeholders and managing deliverables
