A Snapshot of Your Day

Working in the Engineering Department, you will support the department in various projects interfacing with the cross-functional efforts. You will work closely with the Sales, Manufacturing, Quality and Testing departments.

The Engineering Department at the Trench Instrument Transformer Division is technical responsible for the design of instrument Transformers to International standards. These responsibilities include qualifying special materials, prepare designs of instrument Transformer and issuing instructions to Manufacturing and Testing departments.

Also, the Engineering Team is in close contact with our customers to develop solutions with the application of Instrument Transformers.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Analyze problems, identify solutions and make recommendations to the Engineering Team Leader.
• Write programs in Visual Basic and use Microsoft Office software tools to automate test data collection and distribution.
• Prepare complete and competent written procedures and technical reports in a professional manner.
• Interface with other departments, (Sales, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Test Department) to resolve technical issues with the design of Instrument Transformers.
• Communicate to other departments using Power Point tools at different stages of projects.

What You Bring

• Student must be enrolled in four-year Electrical Engineering program, preferably in Power Engineering option, and must have completed minimum 3rd year or higher.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Visual Basic. 
• Must possess Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Flexibility and the ability to effectively function as a team player with strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with minimum supervision.
