Job description:

The candidate will be working with Kuby Energy's design team to create project estimates, proposals, and tenders.

‍Job Duties:

• Design/drafting of solar PV systems layouts and single line diagrams
• Estimating residential and commercial solar power projects
• Complete system maintenance troubleshooting tasks
• Assist project managers and design team to complete project compliance documentations
• Improve procedures and practices through critical thinking and problem solving

Requirements:

• Have working knowledge or experience around/with solar PV systems
• Be able to excel in a small team with minimal supervision
• Be passionate about solar power or sustainability
• Have a strong desire to learn, improve oneself and be accountable
• Be extremely hard working and take the initiative on new challenges
• Know how to operate basic computer programs expertly (CAD, MS excel, word, etc.)

Assets (preferred, but not required):

• Post-secondary degree or diploma from accredited university/technical institute
• Preferred education: Electrical Engineering, Alternative Energy Technology, or related program
• Experience in a small team-based setting
• Proficient professional technical writing skills
• Experience with CAD drafting program(s)

Salary: $20.00-$26.50 per hour
