We’re seeking a skilled Red Seal Journeyman HVAC/R Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team in Kelowna, BC. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of chillers, modular heat pumps, hydronic systems and design, controls, and building systems. The candidate must also have the ability to review mechanical schematics and shop drawings to a sufficient level.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting installations, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Performing diagnostic tests and identifying problems with the HVAC/R systems
• Conducting regular maintenance and upkeep of HVAC/R systems
• Providing exceptional customer service and communication with clients
• Liaising with the project management team to ensure all work is completed on time and on budget.

Skills and Competencies:

• Red Seal Journeyman certification in HVAC/R
• Preferred 5 plus years in commercial HVAC and/or refrigeration
• Knowledge of chillers, VRF equipment, controls and building systems
• Valid class 5 license
• Ability to sufficiently review mechanical schematics, and shop drawings
