Greenfoot Energy Solutions is looking for a new team member who is interested in a full-time permanent opportunity, to join our Moncton office. We are looking for responsible, outgoing, motivated individuals to professionally support our team of Energy Advisors, energy efficiency consultants, and ductwork installers.

Responsibilities/Duties:

· Model HOT2000 files using data collected on-site from our team of Energy Efficiency Consultants.

· Explore client-specific opportunities to lighten the carbon footprint of a home suggesting upgrades regarding insulation, HVAC, and water heating using the house-as-a-system concept of building design.

· Use in-house software to complete files and communicate with Greenfoot teams.

· Receive feedback from Greenfoot teams and adjust designs and models according to on-site constraints.

Qualifications:

· At least 2 years of related experience or education in the field of building engineering or energy systems technology.

· Working knowledge of Natural Resources Canada’s HOT2000 energy modelling software.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based technologies.

· Demonstrate knowledge in the house-as-a-system concept and general building science.

· Demonstrate strong written skills and the ability to communicate in a professional business setting.

· Strong organizational skills while working in a fast-paced customer-driven environment is a must.

· Bilingualism is an asset but not required.

· Full time: 40 hours / week

· Monday to Friday; 8:30 AM to 5 PM

Education:

· Secondary School in a field relating to building or energy systems engineering technologies.

Experience:

· Experience in the field of building engineering technology, HVAC, or insulation trades: (preferred)
